Stay up to date with construction activity and how it might effect your visit

Starting on Thursday 06 February 2025 and marking the beginning of the Warrnambool Base Hospital Redevelopment Early Works phase, essential in-ground electrical service installation construction will take place on Ryot Street, Warrnambool with works continuing until mid-March 2025. From Monday 24 February access to the Mental Health Acute Inpatient Unit (MHAIU) roundabout will be restricted.

Masks optional across all services

From Monday 14 October the wearing of masks will be optional for staff, patients and visitors across all our South West Healthcare services including Camperdown's Merindah Lodge.

The underground car park on Timor Street will be closed for a two-year period starting Monday 5 May 2025, to support the $384.2 million redevelopment at the Warrnambool Base Hospital.
