Planned construction upgrades will commence Tuesday 30 April 2024 at South West Healthcare’s Community Mental Health Services on Koroit Street, Warrnambool.

South West Healthcare's Mental Health staff (L to R) Deepa, Kirsty, Felistas and Jayce are thrilled with the news of an upgrade to the reception and waiting room!

Upgrades will include a brand-new Mental Health community reception area and waiting room, a brand-new duty room and expansion of staff office spaces in the West of the building located on Koroit Street, Warrnambool.

To prepare for these works and allow our Mental Health division to continue servicing the Warrnambool region, South West Healthcare’s Warrnambool Community Health Reception, currently located inside the entrance of the SWH Community Health building on Koroit Street will relocate to a temporary reception/waiting space on ground floor of the SWH Community Health building effective Monday 29 April 2024.

Service users can access the new reception/waiting space via the internal stairs or internal lifts located West of the building. Signage will be available to assist service users when locating the temporary reception.

Simultaneous to this move, the Warrnambool Mental Health Services reception and waiting room function will temporarily relocate to the Community Health reception space, located beside the SWH GP clinic on Level 1 of South West Healthcare’s Community Health building.

Warrnambool Community Mental Health Services reception location changes will take place Tuesday 30 April 2024

We encourage Warrnambool Community Mental Health service users to refer to available signage when locating the temporary reception.

Construction works at South West Healthcare’s Warrnambool Community Mental Health Services are expected to be complete in September 2024 and areas involved in relocation to support the upgrades will revert back to their original location once complete.

We thank all service users for your cooperation and support as we build better access to health care in the South West. For queries related to construction works, please contact redevelopment@swh.net.au
