Support Us

There are many meaningful ways you can support us. Donating your time and life experience as a registered volunteer. Making a donation to one of our medical equipment appeals. Leaving a lasting legacy. Joining one of our committees as a consumer representative. All of this generosity enables us to work together to drive innovation and change for our local communities. It allows us to purchase otherwise-unaffordable medical equipment and establish more medical services to save local people having to travel hundreds of kilometres away. It allows us to participate in world-leading research. It allows us to participate in world-leading healthcare. Right here, at South West Healthcare.

Donations & Fundraising

At a time when COVID-19 ended any opportunity to gather people together for a fundraising event the undeniable power of bequests was highlighted. Of the $1,342,000 we raised during 2021-21, more then two-thirds of it came via the lasting legacies of some very generous people who had intentionally decided to make a difference upon their passing. We welcome anyone considering leaving a lasting legacy to get in touch. We also welcome the opportunity to chat with any individual, family, club, school, church, business or workplace considering holding a fundraising event for us, or considering making an inkind or (tax-deductible) donation. We have a never-ending list of medical equipment we need. We can let you know what's on this list so you can choose the piece you find to be the most compelling.
