Congratulations to all staff who were recognised at the South West Healthcare Staff Service Awards this month.
Staff who have worked at South West Healthcare for 10,15, 20, 25 and 35 years were celebrated for their dedication and commitment to the health service and the community. This year 141 staff members were recognised, with 9 people having spent more than 40 years with our organisation (or a combined 375 years!).
“Having a long-term and experienced staff means that we are able to think ahead and plan for the future – we can rely on people to assist us to see large-scale and ambitious projects through to completion. It means we have a talent pool to draw from that allows us to develop and train new staff,” says CEO Craig Fraser.
“Long-term staff also help us maintain important connections and relationships with our community, providing a familiar face to those that we care for and ensuring continuity of care. Your years of service have a profound impact in ways that you may not have perhaps realised, and for that we say thank you and congratulations.”
