COVID vaccinations begin at our Camperdown campus

A very cheeky Ray Riches and Tash Swayn partnered up today to become Camperdown’s official COVID vaccination stars.

They‘re the first person to get, and the first person to give, the Pfizer vaccine in the tiny township which houses our residential aged care facility, Merindah Lodge.
Pru Almond was second in line (her nurse immuniser was Joy Bailey) and third was Josie Douglas who was also immunised by Tash – as was our first frontline Camperdown worker to be immunised, aged care services manager Leanne Lucas.
In all, 48 most-at-risk Camperdown staff and all 22 Merindah Lodge residents rolled up their sleeves to help make our part of the world a safer place. Frontline staff and aged care sector residents are the government’s first priority for the national COVID vaccination rollout.
