Today we launched our very own SWH COVID-19 Mental & Emotional Wellbeing Support Line for our local communities.

The all-important number is 1800 965 144.

Offering non-judgmental listening services to people in our Warrnambool, Corangamite, Moyne, Southern Grampians and Glenelg communities impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic, this free support line is for anyone seeking guidance and assistance in accessing counselling or wellbeing support, for people experiencing emotional distress, and for people seeking basic information about how to access local services and/or telephone and online support services to support their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

It’s staffed by experienced, caring clinicians including the three pictured* here: Social Work & Counselling Services social worker Kerri-Lee Jones and allied health assistant Kerri Henriksen (centre), and Mental Health Services primary mental health team manager Nicholas Place.

We hope this initiative will enable local people to access support from qualified professionals between 1-5pm Monday to Friday, enhancing community wellbeing guidance available on our SWH website at www.southwesthealthcare.com.au
