Volunteers make the world go round in our small towns. SWH values the services of over 300 volunteers who contribute an enormous amount of time and care to our patients and our teams. This week we hosted a number of events to celebrate their efforts as part of Volunteers Week.

National Volunteer Week is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteering. This year’s theme is The Change Makers which celebrates the powerful impact volunteers make supporting individuals, communities and the nation. Volunteering has the power to change the lives of both volunteers and those they help. We are always on the hunt for more volunteers, if you have some spare time up your sleeve and want to give back to your community visit our volunteers page to get involved.
