The logistics division is run in close conjunction with South West Supply and Logistics to ensure that products from linen services, food services, biomedical, pharmacy and supplies are delivered to our regional partners.
The linen service produces approximately 25 tonnes, or 76,000 individual items of linen, each week to a region covering a total area of around 26,000 square kilometres. For the financial year ending 30 June 2020, 1,242 tonnes of soiled linen were processed.
The development of a new linen production facility as part of the Regional Logistics Distribution Centre will allow South West Linen to ensure supply to all of the public acute sector whilst supporting employment in the region.
South West Linen specialises in all healthcare and aged care linen products. We also provide linen for the accommodation sector, with a premium hotel range.
