The informative gatherings, led by SWH Senior Project Manager, Michael Farley and builder Hansen Yuncken Project Manager, Stephen Keen have been scheduled to provide opportunity for South West Healthcare’s supply and linen staff to view construction progress to date.
South West Healthcare Warehousing and Logistics Manager, Shane Grundy, defined the staff opportunity to be “Great value to staff, allowing them to see the project come to life after many meetings and has allowed our team to be a part of the journey well before the transition phase is due to commence at the end of 2023”
“We are looking forward to getting down to the new logistics centre and taking advantage of the brand-new equipment, not to mention the huge increase in space, allowing for better operations and workflow” explained SWH Warehouse and Logistics Supervisor, Martin Fleming.
Construction activities on-site are progressing rapidly despite the wintery conditions, with completion of structural steel, approved by both the building inspector and structural engineer as well as preparation for the final civil works. In the coming weeks, it is expected that the roof installation will be complete, bringing the projects external structural works to completion.
