Next time you visit SWH be sure to grab yourself a hot beverage in one of these beautiful and compostable coffee cups. During the Covid-19 pandemic cafe staff were no longer able to accept KEEPCups, due infection prevention measures. However the cafe’s new cups are fully compostable in industrial FOGO bins and will replace the existing plastic lined paper cups that were on offer. The lids are also recyclable making them a much more sustainable option. The SWH Environmental Sustainability Committee, who implemented the change are also working hard behind the scenes to develop a FOGO collection strategy for the Warrnambool campus, with FOGO collections already in place in SWH campuses in Lismore, Camperdown, Macarthur and our vaccination centre.
