On her way home from a short stay with us, Lena says she joined our workforce as a ‘blushing bride’ in 1954 and, before retiring in 1995, was second-in-charge of our Midwifery Unit for more than 30 years.
She proudly celebrated her 90th birthday a couple of weeks ago.
