Part of a rotating art exhibition celebrating International Year of the Nurse & Midwife is now gracing the walls of our Camperdown Hospital foyer.

Today, Corangamite Arts Inc has installed six of 30 pieces from its Ladies in Waiting exhibition. All of them are for sale and the money raised is being generously gifted to our midwifery unit. SUCH a wonderful initiative.

Corangamite Arts’ Jan Barnes says more than 10 Arts members have painted the 30 mannequins, donated by Phil Russell.

‘This year, more than any other, we honour our healthcare professionals and acknowledge their contribution at the coal face. Please dig deep, show your appreciation and support them,’ Jan says.

Camperdown Hospital campus manager Janine Dureau-Finn is thrilled with the initiative and says some pieces are already sold.
