Ethical Review Manager (ERM)

All researchers must use Ethical Review Manager (ERM) for all ethics and governance submissions in Victoria.

ERM is an online portal for all documents for:

• Ethics Applications
• Research Governance/ Site Specific Assessment (SSA) applications
• Ethics post-approval forms e.g. –amendments, progress/final reports etc.
• Research Governance post-authorisation forms e.g. – site notification form

Principal Investigator, Associate Investigators and Application signatories including head of departments and organisational representatives are required to have their individual ERM accounts and need to be familiar with the user guide.
