Expression of Interest – Eastern Maar Traditional Owner Artwork

South West Healthcare is seeking expressions of interest for artwork that can be adapted and reproduced on scrubs as part of our NAIDOC Week celebrations. We will purchase an original piece of artwork that embodies the spirit of NAIDOC Week (The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy) and aligns with the theme of cultural celebration, respect, and unity. Submit your EOI by 5 pm, Monday 24 March.

SWH seeks to purchase an original piece of artwork that embodies the spirit of NAIDOC Week and aligns with the theme of cultural celebration, respect, and unity and the NAIDOC 2025 Theme “The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy” The artwork will be transferred onto scrubs for staff to wear during NAIDOC Week 2025 and beyond, serving as a long-term representation of Eastern Maar culture and recognition.

The process:

  • Receive submissions by 5 pm, Monday 24 March.
  • Review submissions.
  • Select artwork that aligns with NAIDOC Week theme; The Next Generation: Strength, Vision and Legacy.
  • Final design mock ups will be reviewed by the artist before production commences.

What you need to know:

The artwork will be used for scrubs and will be worn by South West Healthcare staff. The imagery will also be used in South West Healthcare publications where appropriate, NAIDOC promotional materials, and will appear in photos (staff wearing scrubs) which may be published on South West Healthcare’s social media accounts and website.

You may submit up to three pieces of artwork for consideration and this can be digital art, paint, and other forms of mediums for artwork. Only one piece of artwork will be selected and acquired through this EOI process. The artist will need to know how to download the artwork to a graphic file called Vector (not a raster) enabling the artwork to be converted to transfer to clothing.

Please note the artist will receive payment for their chosen artwork.
