This act of generosity marks the 93rd year of a treasured tradition started in the 1930s by the Nestle Sports & Social Club.
Wrapped Christmas mugs, sweets and flavoured water went to everyone, newborns in our maternity unit and children in our paediatrics unit also received age-appropriate presents, and our nurse stations were given chocolates. Three-year-old Robbie Small, snapped here with his nine-year-old sister Erika, couldn’t contain his excitement when he unwrapped his tip truck. Check out that grin!
