SUPA IGA’s Nicole Dowie (right) is snapped here presenting our appeal manager Suzan Morey with a $2,000 donation courtesy of the IGA Community Chest. This is far from the first time this Timor-Street IGA has supported our high-priority needs and we are very grateful.
This gift means that the furnishing/equipping of the first 12 bedrooms (of 34) has now been fully funded. And the same goes for the furnishing/equipping of the two $15,200 special purpose bedrooms. And, all thanks to the generosity of local people.
If you’d like to help us get even closer to the half-way mark Suzan would love to hear from you. She’s on 5564 4100 or smorey@swh.net.au
We have between now and mid next year to reach our target, in time for the official opening of the stunning new $39.6M residential aged care facility we’re, this very minute, building alongside our Camperdown Hospital.
Aside from the $9,200 we need to equip/furnish each bedroom, we also need help with the following: $5,000 to help establish a therapy garden + $19,000 for outdoor furniture and a commercial BBQ + $4,000 for a TV for the indoor gym + $5,000 for a piece of gym equipment.
