That in itself is a major feat in logistics. We’re talking 100s and 100s of trauma teddies and kids’ activity packs made and donated over the past two decades, alone. And, that’s not the only type of donation this branch puts its heart and soul into. Like our other local CWAs, it also donates significant amounts of money from its fundraising endeavours. Yesterday, during a lavish afternoon tea, the Allansford branch (pictured) gave us $3,200.
This generosity pays outright for the first of four (first ever) epidural-specific infusion pumps we want for our Warrnambool Maternity Unit.
Our wonderful SWH Warrnambool Auxiliary has offered to fundraise for the remaining three. This $9,600 challenge starts with their screening of CABRINI at Warrnambool’s Capitol Cinema on June 13 (we’ll pop the details here, soon) followed by a lavish luncheon to be held in Warrnambool in September (stay tuned for more info on this exciting event).
